Lesson 343:

I am mot asked to make a sacrifice to find the mercy and the peace of God….

The mercy and the peace of God are already within. They are within the essence of Grace from which we, as Spirit, choose to form experiences, ultimately labeling them this or that… Without judgment, what we experience as grace is but our identity as the Son of God…

What comes to my mind in practicing today’s lesson is that empty space within experiences which we then give meaning; that field of possibility which unites them all as one. And without which, no experience is possible…

We, God’s Son are love’s life breath…We are, God’s complete God. We have our being in creation extending and graciously completing itself. Ultimately, there can be no question as to creations nature; it is. And creates as it is....

All our fantasies of the world real-ize the imagined life of a guilty Son, separated from Origin but fathered by belief in self-source; alone and antithesis to truth. All power of creation has never left us. It’s just that in the dream of separation, our desire for the false to reign constructs limits as a necessary component to disguise the Son of God from himself…

The Course says that the lessons to be learned are only two, each having its outcome in a different world, and each following indubitably from its source.

1. God’s Son is guilty. Bingo! This world of scarcity, struggle and sacrifice and happiness, the never-ending carrot dangles by its rules, value judgments and orders of reality. Here every seeming reprieve from struggle is paid for at the price of freedom….Where everything is temporary and ends in death and one must stay on guard using worry and guilt. … I know, yeah, yeah, yeah, we’ve heard it all before~ the constant dirge of death that soundtracks this world.

And why am I going on about the world of guilt’s reign? We all know it all too well; we have learned it at the expense of remembering we are everything, so the ego identity holds it very dear. But, we are not that.

Ah, but the other lesson, says the Course is really a remembering of all that we denied.

2. It is a denial of the denial of truth. And its message is based in truth: God’s Son is guiltless. The outcome starts with joy and unity since it is the natural ’being’ given freedom to extend…

I love what it says in the last chapter of the text…“There is no living thing that does not share the universal Will that it be whole, and that you do not leave its call unheard. Without your answer is it left to die, as it is saved from death when you have heard its calling as the ancient call to life, and understood that it is but your own. The Christ in you remembers God with all the certainty with which He knows His Love. But only if His Son is innocent can He be Love. For God were fear indeed if he whom He created innocent could be a slave to guilt. God’s perfect Son remembers his creation. But in guilt he has forgotten what he really is.” (T-31.I.9)
Love’s never-ending presence sponsors all relationships, circumstance and situation: all ways, always, for the good of all ~This is what we learn to trust through practicing forgiveness… No sacrifice is possible in truth and the mercy and the peace of God are inherent in what we are. This learning experience of the guiltlessness of God's Son is not only inevitable, but welcome… We but choose the Atonement; giving and receiving mutually, salvation and ‘gift of everything’…

Please join me for a moment right now, and let your mind slip back into the empty space just behind, before and beyond the words you’re reading and feel the alive nothingness that forms the hub we experience as ‘I am’… Now slip into the gap between and ‘I’ and ‘am’… Feel that instant of perfect rest: the mercy and the peace of God…

~we say ‘God is’ and we cease to speak~

Lesson 337:

My sinlessness protects me from all harm…

Let me see here, sinlessness is the state of the center where the Self resides. The dark concept of harm cannot coexist with invulnerability; which is the natural state of the Son of God….

Once we be come willing to hide nothing, to harbor no thoughts that we would keep private, the belief in harm or vulnerability crumbles in the light of impartiality.

Harm is a concept only valid within the separation-illusion. Without belief in structures and concepts, harm could not exist. The ego’s entire kingdom is pieced together and propped up with the belief structures of scarcity, specialness, attack and harm, producing the illusion of danger and death and attackers and victims, winners and losers …. It’s all smoke and mirrors, easily dispelled when the choice to ‘forgive and see this differently’ takes precedence in value… Then what we see is our unity and oneness, even simultaneously as the bodies eyes see what they are made to see, within we recognize our brother as our Self…

In choosing Atonement for myself, I began to trust without reservation or forgive my reservation as soon a I noticed a sense of loosing connection with my center of peace … I became willing to forget fairness and justice concepts and allow the mystery within and beyond to visit truth’s impartial ‘fairness’ that unites… The letting go of needing to know, to understand and allow, has resulted in an experience of tolerance I never imagined. It’s really a feeling of accepting unconditionally that all things work together for good for all.

Nothing in this world can be done to fix anything dawns easily, although not always recognized or welcome in the beginning, when we accept Atonement and the single goal of truth. This choice seems to hold the energy of inevitability; a sense that what unfolds next has already been tested and true, so to speak…

The Holy Spirit is engaged and brings to life the ongoing gentle waking to the truth where no concepts reside at all. So, what I’m trying to get at here is although details in the dream seem effected, and choices seem to be made, another experience that is ongoing, beyond what seems apparent~ the bigger picture or rest of the story, so to speak.

There is an instant recognition, always; but due to valuing the belief in the reality of sin and you and me, etc., there is no conceptualization for pure life within the structure of the dream, so it seemingly takes time. Yet, the Holy Spirit is the great interpreter and once chosen, has given another way of seeing.

An experience that brings peace and safety and certainty comes quietly but for the single desire for it. I know... In this state of deep awareness within Mind, actions in this world blend with God’s plan for salvation and its accomplishment.

Then this experience of safety and certainty is paid forward, and trusting is easier, which handles rising fears and boosts faith… I see your sinlessness, I see mine.

Like the lesson says: “What must I do to know all this is mine? I must accept Atonement for myself, and nothing more. God has already done all things that need be done. And I must learn I need do nothing of myself, for I need but accept my Self.”

Lesson 319:

I came for the salvation of the world…

As I have, through trial and error, uncovered my belief structure, it has amazed me that we get on at all in this life. Every plan and fantasy seems to have a built in failure-to-satisfy mechanism… In other words, it’s doomed from the start. Yet, the compulsion to seek more drives the body on. Even in the so-called spiritual quest, the inevitable disappointment is finding that whatever one achieves from seeking, results in dissatisfaction and a sense of ‘not-enough-ness… But wait! The thing I discovered (due to my earnestness and willingness really) is that this seeking is the condition of the ego dream… But here’s the good new! I am not that!

I am… no matter what. Behind the body-mind, beyond the thinking mechanism; within the dream or witnessing, I simply am…I am that state of pure being. I have died at the hand of every idol I have made and worshiped. Only to find my Self… the Self of pure being… of Love indefinable… the Self as God created His Son… eternal life…

The dense fabric of the heavy dream of ‘something else’ finally required that ‘I’ lighten-up. Here’s another thing I discovered… You know how you always hear that every cloud has a silver lining? … Well, I discovered that within every false belief I held was the seed of a healed perspective…

Built into every desire for the false, is a spirit fail-safe. It is at the ready, the instant we are willing to surrender what we think we know, and be shown. The instant we wholeheartedly want the truth… this is the miracle-mindedness that allows us to be in sync with God’s plan for salvation…. We have become the ministers of God…

Then once the life as a miracle worker is set, every belief is systematically offered to the miracle for re-pair…

To accept that only truth is why I am here. By accepting only that I am as God created and nothing else could be true, I bring that condition into all my seeming encounters and each become one where I recognize my brother as myself. I am not in fact here at all. I did not ‘come’ anywhere. Yet, as long as the mind of the Sonship remains split, there is salvation to be had. My job is to not be so arrogant as to think I don’t matter and that my ‘not paying attention’ won’t be noticed…. Mind is whole. No one gets away with nothin’. And on the same note, every loving thought, the tiniest ‘let-go’~ they’re all one healing, one unified purpose, waking the mind to the reality that God has saved our Self for us, undefiled and pure.

It is the whole mind of the Son that is already restored in the Holy Spirit that ‘comes’ to save the world. The world, after all, is in my mind. Not the other way around. The humility that accompanies accepting that God’s Will is total, and the restorative of the Atonement complete, allows me the patience to seemingly do my part, to fulfill my function through forgiving all misperceptions by just noticing… that’s my part…. I simply don’t run from myself, or you, for we are one and all perception that says otherwise is just a forgiveness lesson, and part of my particular curriculum for my role in salvation.

‘I’ don’t even do the forgiving; I notice and invite the Holy Spirit to take it from there… then I reap the benefits: happiness and joy and the peace that only certainty brings…it is so worth it to let go one’s ‘littleness and accept that only God’s plan for salvation will work and only the truth is true… I like how the lesson today puts it: “when there is no arrogance the truth will come immediately, and fill up the space the ego left unoccupied by lies…it is the Will of God I learn that what one gains is given unto all….

“Father, Your Will is total. And the goal which stems from it shares its totality. What aim but the salvation of the world could You have given me? And what but this could be the Will my Self has shared with You”?

Lesson 317:

I follow in the way appointed me…

Here is where certainty lies. It is the only place to find it. The way appointed me is the way of God, the way of love. It is the clear perspective of a unified purpose within a world made to epitomize conflict… In fact, it is the only certainty. “Only God’s plan for salvation will work.” (W-71).

I love the prayer that invites the Holy Spirit to lead which is given in lesson 71: “What would You have me do? Where would You have me go? What would You have me say and to whom?”… I’ve found it an excellent gateway to the perspective that allows for the appointed way to be seen…

Miracles light the way forged by Forgiveness. The Holy Spirit is the guide and map interpreter and you are my compadrés and companions. Grievances act as little cairns showing us the way when a fork has surfaced in the pathway of mind, and belief seems to block the way.

One must forgive the con-structural possibility that a dual way could exist at all, when God is perfect oneness and all is His Son… It’s like a “choose once again” trail marker… It is the conscious decision to “follow in the way appointed me” that shifts the mind to see the path at all. Free-will is ours and we are the dreamer of the dream of worlds.

The lesson says, “I have s special place to fill, a role for me alone. Salvation waits until I take this part as what I choose to do”.

In my early years with the Course, I took this as a role I played in the world. It just so happened that I had received a miracle. I ask for another way, and I was given it. I felt I had found my purpose in life~ to counsel other fellow sufferers to see that only love can heal and nothing else does…and that was good as far as that piece goes. It’s not for me to see the total picture for all~ that is the Holy Spirit’s role...

Here’s the thing, though, I actually took this so-called-inspired role as the role appointed me, a ‘special role’, helping, counseling, teaching~ it was a role characterized by it’s different from others special roles-ness… See the subtle division there? I didn’t… not for a while, anyway. I think this is a trap a lot of sincere seekers fall into. Where seeking-mind interprets miracles as finding answers in the world and then deciding it knows something it can teach to others. What I came to experience for myself (really in every area of life), as soon as I think I Know something, I close myself off from true knowing. Which, incidentally, often reveals itself in my own very words when I and they dedicated to purpose and given over to the Holy Spirit. Knowing is not of this world…

I didn’t realize the subtle, seductive twist the ego designed especially for me. And what I did experience happening I began to feel detached from myself in a very fundamental way. I was all about what I felt obliged to maintain and perpetuate ~this image/role which seemed held in such regard by those it thought it ‘helped’… And this persona seemed so respected and was seen as knowledgeable and important by myself as well as others.

What I see now is that there was a sort of splitting (separation) within my own ‘secret/personal’ self. There was a childlike self, tucked inside, humbled by and still holding the miracle in tact, waiting… Yet, also, from this little self I too felt somewhat in awe (or was it trepidation?) of this persona-self. And the split grew. I was attached to the persona. And after a while, I began to suffer from a deep sense of feeling fraudulent. Not particular to any actions or words inconsistent to the role, but a building sense of knowing it was not what I am, but rather a distraction of ‘importance’ to delay the only way appointed me…

I’m not saying there was anything but a miracle-in-action going on for me throughout this time. I just find it useful to remember the cunningness of the ego; how seductive and contrived it is ~ seducing us to look the way our weaknesses want to see… And yet, it is ultimately vicious… Well, as the Course puts it, it’s out to kill us (thank God, there is no death in Life~ whew!) What I’m recalling today is a replay of my forgiveness lesson specifics, as honestly as I can, from a mind-watching perspective (and perhaps a little hindsight).

I chose the Hell-bus out of the predicament I found myself in, incidentally. This Hell-bus, by the way, for me, turned out to be the fast-track to forgiving the personhood construct. It gave me direct access to a clear and present awareness of the single choice ~for the Atonement…

Now, here, is the true way appointed me… I chose the Atonement for myself and never again have I suffered from the same split in self that I was once so belabored by…

My path is certain, my choices~ as clear as my willingness at any given moment, and the way secure. Love is the lamppost as well as the sun. I cannot really lose my way. The Course tells us that God would not leave us comfortless… It is true. This comfort is as present as my choice to take the way appointed me, and to choose the Atonement for myself.

Under this umbrella, all things are seen from a unified perspective, all directed toward only good for all. No one ever really loses. We love or we forgive or we wait till we’re ready to love and forgive… The details that seem to flesh-out my so-called-life are seen with equal value; just as all is seen as either useful to purpose or not and therefore forgiven and then useful once again….

God’s plan for salvation replaces our nightmare of separate ‘special-nesses’ with the dream of forgiveness and oneness. His dream answered the idea the impossible: that there could be a world where one was separate from and even conceived his maker, a separate entity, apart from all the billions surrounding him, levying for control, for which one must continually maintain control over it all… or parish. (Geese, that’s sound insane when ya put it that way).

Not one seemingly individual person is left out of a unified plan. It is but by our choice that a unified purpose is seen and followed. Like lesson 236 says: “I rule my mind, which I alone must rule.” ~lessons 79and 80: “Let me recognize the problem so it can be solved and recognize the problem has been solved ~lesson 138: “Heaven is the decision I must make”. And then followed by lesson 139: “I will accept the Atonement for my self”… which brings us back to today’s lesson: I follow in the way appointed me… It is the one goal for action ~ all that has meaning in this world made to contradict itself…

Please join me in this clear and beautiful prayer from today’s lesson:

Father, Your way is what I choose today. Where it would lead me do I choose to go; what it would have me do I choose to do. Your way is certain, and the end secure. The memory of You awaits me there. And all my sorrows end in Your embrace, which You have promised to Your Son, who thought mistakenly that he had wandered from the sure protection of Your loving Arms”…

4. What is Sin?

Those of us who have been known to describe ourselves as ‘sinners’ will certainly agree, from personal experience, with the statements laid out in the first paragraph of this section… Sin is insanity. It is the means by which the mind is driven mad, and seeks to let illusions take the place of truth. And being mad, it sees illusions where the truth should be, and where it really is. Sin gave the body eyes, for what is there the sinless would behold? What need have they of sights or sounds or touch? What would they hear or reach to grasp? What would they sense at all? To sense is not to know. And truth can be but filled with knowledge, and with nothing else”.

Definitely, for me, during my stint as a ‘bad-girl/sinner’, insanity ruled the day… I constantly felt ‘driven mad’, desperate to make illusions take the place of truth. And oh, how the body was the central, inescapable reality in which I found myself trapped; hopelessly hooked on its addictions to feed its reality through the pleasure/pain, acquisition/consequence dynamics… It ruled my logic and imprisoned my soul…

‘It’, the sin premise, of course, was still my responsibility. It was my choice, my decision to believe real ~ no victims here~.

Yet, once this choice is made and the premise set (as we all know, cuz that’s how the world got real for us) this trap is hidden from view…

From the sin premise, the acceptance as reality, of victim and perpetrator appears to be too obvious to question. Denial is the primary symptom of the sin disease… No one wins. Everyone is guilty. This totally justifies the convoluted means one uses to meet one’s so called needs… And, incidentally, it requires a body to make this experience viable. “The body is the instrument the mind made in its efforts to deceive itself…Its purpose is to strive”.

Now, if we’ve been lucky, as I have, and in a moment of temporary death-by-sin, chose Life; the life of truth instead of sin, we understand that all things, the striving and the body and even denial, can be used by forgiveness (Holy Spirit) toward the awareness of ever-present truth… We deny the denial of truth each time we look honestly at our beliefs and values and question their validly, each time we look beyond the body to the Christ spirit which is constantly unifying us as brothers, each time we allow an ancient hate to become a present love…

Lesson 251:

I am in need of nothing but the truth…

Today, let us recognize this simple fact as the premise from which we operate our day and let truth guide our choices and relationships. We do nothing that is of the ‘should/have to’ nature … Instead, we wait for truth’s messengers to arrive and show us the way that we must go…

Lesson 242:

This day is God’s. It is my gift to Him…

Duh. Each day is both ours and God’s, as one, ultimately. So too, it is our gift to each other. The point of the lesson is to empty out, completely, our little agendas and wholly open our minds to God’s...

We reside where our awareness is at any given moment... The question is: Where is our awareness? Today, we place our full awareness in our oneness with God through the Holy Spirit within our mind. It is a day of true faith and trust. Trust that the Holy Spirit not only, will handle, perfectly, every circumstance that occurs, with ultimate good for all concerned, but that it has already been done, and our little resistance and interference couldn’t impact it in the least. The Atonement answered the tiny mad idea of separation in a blazing instant of recognition that GOD IS…period…

This is a day, too, of steadfast faithfulness. We place our faith in God’s plan for salvation; which means we give wholehearted faith to all our brothers, knowing that they are doing their part perfectly. Regardless of what the little itch of ego in our minds is trying to serve up; we look past its irritating distractions and straight into the eyes of Christ in our brothers, letting forgiveness tell us what’s what…

This liberates us to a day of appreciation, peace and happiness~ guaranteed by God…

Let’s wrap with the prayer from the lesson, yeah:

And so we give today to You. We come with wholly open minds. We do not ask for anything that we may think we want. Give us what You would have received by us. You know all our desires and our wants. And You will give us everything we need in helping us to find the way to You…

Lesson 240:

Fear is not justified in any form…

Fear a funny thing. It is always, only about the perceived future. It is a distraction mechanism from present being

As I have come to recognize myself as the silent impartial witness of my ego mind, I am no longer its puppet. Because I am able to look at what goes on in mind; images, thoughts, beliefs, tendencies, I am not looking through them to view the world. And I am aware of a few undeniable facts. Fear is a fantasy.

When, through choosing truth as the only goal, stepping back in mind to watch, one naturally begins to detach from body-mind identification. When we’re able to watch the play of mind from the witness perspective, it becomes clear that fear is, as the lessons states, deception.

Ego dynamics are all about keeping the belief in its reality in the reality position in the mind. It’s a game of hide-n-seek; keeping ones awareness in bed with the past through guilty fear, while buying it off at the same time with promises of future redemption and happiness.

Now, here’s the thing, the very fact that we can be aware that we are feeling fear and we question it, throws us out of the feelings of fear, and into the present moment. And in the immediacy of present moment awareness, there is a certainty of being. And that certainty of being was actually behind the questioning, yes? This being is the certainty of God... It is the certainty of life itself. It is the eternal certainty which we are never without. It is Love.

Relief and gratitude replace fear, as, from our resting place as the witness, we see that not one single thing we ever thought about this world was true. We have slipped beyond, above the battleground, and we are can truly say:

Fear is not justified in any form…

Lesson 238:

On my decision all salvation rests…

It’s not personal. That’s the design. God placed his plan for salvation from the dream of separation, where it could not be lost, within the Self…

For the longest time I just couldn’t get that. Much of my so-called life and its spiritual journey have been fraught with unworthiness. I judged myself as a person, while God saw me as His Son.

Through accepting the Atonement for myself, I began to see that the way God, the Father, saw me; perfect, sinless, and worthy, could be my only identity, for I could not be apart from Him, and be... This, by reason, tells me that I cannot be apart from you in any way and remember who I am… for we are one…

Vision or judgment is my choice, but never both…

So, therefore, it is essential that I move beyond the personhood concept, to see you as my brother, which is to say, to see that you and I are one; every decision I make effects the whole. The happy news is that by deciding for the Atonement for myself, the Holy Spirit within my mind opens the vision of brotherhood instead of personhood, for me. And here, is where salvation rests. Here, the simplicity of a single purpose can be seen. And the holy, verses the special, relationship; communication through the Holy Spirit of minds joined, where bodies loose their meaning, takes the forefront of purpose. Fear and unworthiness dissolve into meaninglessness when we are joined only for God’s plan for Salvation; which is to say, joining our will, joined in Gods Will for perfect happiness for us, now…

“No one who has a single purpose, unified and sure, can be afraid”. (T-20.1.7)

Vision shines the thread of eternity through every situation and encounter and we see that must be joined in will, and in this joint will we are all united, and abide in peace. I love the simplicity this reason brings to mind and the resulting peace. Deciding to accept the Atonement for our self is the way to peace allowing us to look with love on every thing we perceive.

It is a constant reminder of how much our Father loves us and trusts us, whom He created as His Son.

“Father, Your trust in me has been so great, I must be worthy. You created me, and know me as I am. And yet You placed Your Son’s salvation in my hands, and let it rest on my decision. I must be beloved of You indeed. And I must be steadfast in holiness as well, that You would give Your Son to me in certainty that he is safe Who still is part of You, and yet is mine, because He is my Self”.

Lesson 235:

God in His mercy wills that I be saved…

The truth, which is what we are, doesn’t need saving. We are the very being of truth, and rest eternally in God… the Oneness…

It is the mind, in wild imagination, which has twisted itself into substituting belief for reality; false for true, image for identity, hell for Heaven…

The message here is: ‘relax, God in His mercy, wouldn’t leave restoration of mind to the idea that got itself into the belief in separating, in the first place’… Salvation is for the seeker which has forgotten its being is the local of the truth it requests, as well as the very exploration itself…

No, in Truth, nothing has changed. Time plays only with itself; in the realm of imagination, taken to be the truth by repetitious attention to it. No, nothing has changed. In oneness all is complete; needing no supports or substantiations. It is the experience of the wholeness we seek and have forgotten we are. Salvation is the return route to this experience. And God’s plan for salvation is the only way…

To even glimpse it requires one must be willing to accept silence as the teacher. This is tough for the mind to grasp, for it is limited to the realm of the mind, which by definition is limited. One must be wholly willing to go beyond, absolutely~ accepting the absolute. There is no compromise in this. One can’t stay comfortable and be open at the same time… To be open means to want nothing else… actually to cease all, and be…

We are talking here about the holy instant of release; where, for an instant salvation has been wrapped up and only love has meaning…. And as the mind fogs back over, we reach salvations tools, and forgive like crazy; reaching for the easily access point of the memory of this pure, whole Love, through the new perception forgiveness gateways…

We question every belief we ever held, tendering it against the touchstone of the holy instant, and in its glowing light, beliefs seem small and transparent and easily let go. In every brother and circumstance, we recognize our holiness within and beyond. We place our trust in Him knowing we are as God created… we place our faith in our sure remembrance of the truth through the plan which He established as our own…

Father, Your holiness is mine. Your Love created me, and made my sinlessness forever part of You. I have no guilt nor sin in me, for there is none in You.

Lesson 206:

I am not a body. I am free.

For I am still as God created me…

Salvation of the world depends on me.

I am not a body. I am free.

For I am still as God created me…

It is significant to note the feeling behind the feelings and experiences of our daily lives, while we give over these days this review section of the lessons to this one thought; I am not a body. I am free. For I am still as God created me; allowing it to background all our seeming experiencing. This one thought held with attention in mind literally lifts the vibrational resonance of our experiencing. It sort of cushions the sharp objects, so to speak, giving everything a questionably solid feel. So subtle is it that, if not tuned into, one might not full appreciate that anything is happening at all. But I notice that my attention is getting ever better and I am more and more familiar with the textural essence shift that takes place when I am surrendering to truth. This is a very powerful time in our learning. We have left the safety of the form-world as the core of our ‘reality-structure’, and placed our faith in the eternal now, beyond it, to give us new definition and substance. And we are beginning to favor and trust the new perception we receive within the present moment as we forgive the old… We are beginning to feel ourselves part of the grand tapestry of interwoven eternal life and love… and specialness is loosing its value in favor of oneness… Yes?!

We are seeing how each and every aspect of this tapestry (of sonship) is absolutely essential to all. And we can now place our faith in our brothers and in our selves, that we will and are, doing our part in God’s plan for salvation of the world.

Salvation of the world depends on me… How could it not? The world is in my mind… the mind I share with you... in Heaven where we reside forever, eternally now…

I am not a body. I am free.

For I am still as God created me….

Lesson 194:

I place the future in the Hands of God…

When I came to this lesson with an mind and heart, where I no longer cared to ‘understand’ what it meant with my strategic mind, I noticed in the core of my being the response to this was: “Whew, take it off my hands, p l e a s e. . . I am no longer interested.”

Now this brings me to discuss this topic from a miracle-received place. And if I were to describe, in worldly terms, a statement that encapsulates the freedom and ease that has come to me as a result of placing my future in the Hands of God’, it would be that, ‘ I don’t really care’. I don’t. It’s as simple as that. The truth is, I haven’t really cared for a long time. Scratch that~ ever! I don’t care what the future brings. I’m never going to see it.

I am interested in my happiness, right here, right now.

Truthfully, it’s the only thing I’m capable of…this present moment, always.

Every manner of twisted, so-called self-sacrificing, self-depreciating, other-focused, self-focused, acting out of beliefs, no matter how convoluted they may seem to a semi-sane mind; when it gets down to it, some place, somehow, I signed-on to a belief that x-amount of x was necessary for happiness. I acted out of the belief in scarcity and that the rights to happiness were earned through hard work, sacrifice, guilt and worry. Or, I stole moments of fabricated relief and called them, happy- times, knowing the fraudulency of my actions; justifying and attempting to rationalize legitimately, dodging the bullet at every turn… and so on. All to be happy, now.

You know, bottom-line, all the twisting and turning, I fondly refer to as my so-called life, find its roots in one belief: that I am a separate being, existing in a world of time and space. Now, with this kind of lonely start, add a list of all possible defenses and offense maneuvers for survival as necessary components. And it all plays out as a grand competition with God for control. ~ arrh, the compulsion to feel in control~ As if…

Well, anyway, it sounds ridiculous when I try to talk about it now…

I place the future in the Hands of God…

I, through the Holy Spirit within my mind, and the course’s suggestion, am developing the habit of engaging with God in acceptance of my identity in Him as a way of dealing with the time-construct. I choose being present, now, in the place of the self-identity, past-future construct. And when I loose my way and real-ize a particular ‘care’, it is easily seen differently when given over to the lens of forgiveness… I love the way it works, I am never without the deep abiding joy that comes with placing the future in God’s Hands… I can so relate to this lesson and feel the workings of transformation taking place within;

E.g. from today’s lesson:

“Accept today’s idea, and you have passed all anxiety, all pits of hell, all blackness of depression, thoughts of sin, and devastation brought about by guilt. Accept today’s idea, and you have released the world from all imprisonment by loosening the heavy chains that locked the door to freedom on it. You are saved, and your salvation thus becomes the gift you give the world, because you have received.

In no one instant is depression felt, or pain experienced or loss perceived. In no one instant sorrow can be set upon a throne, and worshipped faithfully. In no one instant can one even die. And so each instant given unto God in passing, with the next one given Him already, is a time of your release from sadness, pain and even death itself.”

I am no longer deceiving myself that the nothingness of unreality holds anything I want. The rest it just breaking the bad habits that were once coping mechanisms, through forgiving the false and accepting that only the truth is true.

Thank you for joining me as we still a our minds an instant, letting this moment tell as what I time is. We find the inevitability of God, eternally, always, already, now…

And as we begin our day,we go with this surety:

“For in God’s Hands we rest untroubled, sure that only good can come to us. If we forget, we will be gently reassured. If we accept an unforgiving thought, it will be soon replaced by love’s reflection. And if we are tempted to attack, we will appeal to Him Who guards our rest to make the choice for us that leaves temptation far behind. No longer is the world our enemy, for we have chosen that we be its friend”...

Lesson 186:

Salvation of the world depends on me…

You’d think that after a few years of vigilant mind-watching; recognizing the flimsy whim the various attitudes and identities of the person dependent on the world is, one would walk away from so insecure an identity, especially if systematically directed to and graced with the experience of Self beyond. A Self that without which this personhood identity could not even appear to be… Yet we persist. We make up that we are trapped in the world’s ideas of past and future and others and the self. How arrogant are we? To experience the very reason for our being and still want to claim our story about what reality is in place of Creation. One has to laugh at our willingness to be seduced, yes? And at the elaborate lengths we go to distract ourselves for the truth we really know is true…We buy ourselves off with “trying” to be better, trying to awaken to the truth, while employing the very concepts (past/future, time/space) that keep us from it, as a methodology for arriving at it.

The world does not exist without the Self. Period. Can one honestly say whether the world stands the same when in deep sleep, as we seem to perceive it in our so-called waking hours?

In my own experience, I notice the Self first (without any definition) as I come into consciousness after deep sleep. And, patiently, paying close attention, I notice I begin to materialize in mind, the person, then bed and room and world…

The ego counts on our succumbing to the mind-numbing of thinking we know what is happening; of taking for granted the reality of world of form. With this in place, we are only merely half-present to attend to choice.

We absolutely must question every assumption and belief we have ever had. And here’s the thing, we need only to notice where we start to numb-out in assumption and give it over to the Holy Spirit. This is the simple process of forgiveness… the release from the imprisonment our plan to prove the false it true has brought to us. By this, we accept the plan we did not make instead…

There is no way to over evaluate each of our part in God’s plan for salvation. The mind that thinks this world, must in every aspect, accept the truth in place of false appearances.

We are not without some experience of the real and of an awareness of it, at this point. To accept the atonement for ourselves is to listen with increased faith and vigilance to only that Voice which brings with it the feeling of peace and surety and joy, that when tuned to, is the instantaneous certainty that all is well, and that wellness as beyond the all that appears to be…

By accepting the truth that salvation of the world depends on us, we realize our Self through applying our forgiveness to each and every brother and situation or circumstance. They each ask only for the response of Love, which we can only offer truly to all, equally, through the Holy Spirit we all share. In this:

Salvation of the world depends on me…

Lesson 155:

I will step back and let Him lead the way…

Illusions are exhausting. Trying to control, manipulate and organize them for happiness; to attempt to steer around the suffering and deprivation inherent in illusion is even more so. Yet what I have come to see is that this is just a track in mind that once on it, we are seemingly bound to its laws of deprivation and loss and fear. Yet, there is nothing real on this track. I am there only by my belief in its reality. This is maintained my defense of it and my allegiance to it. Still, it is merely a dream and by withdrawing my attention and belief from it I awaken to the truth within which realizes the clear and simple path before me leading directly home where all of me remains.

I don’t know if it’s a regular meditation practice, but definitely the committed desire to bring my so-called body-life (illusions) to the alter for purification and release, to be replaced by God-life instead, that I came to see that the world of form was but mere smoke and mirrors, dispelled by the mere desire for truth instead. This daily practice consecrated for the Holy Spirit’s use gave me a sense of the path where illusion-Danét steps back and He leads the way. Resistance is futile… joy abounds…The love of God and my oneness with Him is the true magnetic pull defining the purpose of my so-called life.

The lessons in this section are geared to show us that by letting our ideas slip behind, we find truth is not only our beacon, but that with it we beacon for others the way we must go. We walk to God. Right now this is an act of faith; a trust in His trust in us and a deep peace that we are indeed along the road to Him…

We rule our minds which we alone must rule. Love waits on welcome not on time and our sure-footed path leading certainly the way that we must go, wait on our welcome. Like the lesson says:

This is the simple choice we make today: to let illusions sink behind the truth and let the truth stand forth as what it is…

We walk to God. Pause and reflect on this. Could any way be holier, or more deserving of your effort, of your love and of your full intent? What way could give you more than everything, or offer less and still content the holy Son of God? We walk to God. The truth that walks before us now is one with Him, and leads us to where He has always been. What way but this could be a path that you would choose instead?

Joyously, filled with gratitude for you, I ask you join me in an eternal moment where we pause and reflect on this ….. breathing into it, letting the illusions of ourselves slip away, as we rest in God….

And as we move into our day this lesson guides our footsteps…

I will step back and let Him lead the way,
For I would walk along the road to Him.

Lesson 152:

The power of decision is my own…

We see what we believe and we believe what we want to be true. This is what suffices in this world of illusion.

Yet only the truth is true and nothing else is true. Today’s lesson states: Truth must be all-inclusive, if it be the truth at all. Accept no opposites and no exceptions, for to do so is to contradict the truth entirely.

I decide one thing within this dream; to view from the experience of oneness and innocence, accessing the Holy Spirit within mind, seeing as the dreamer of the dream, or I decide a worldly view, as a small character within the dream, alone. Literally everything that seems to happen in my world happens due to my decision. If I was not decided by me, it didn’t happen. And if it seemed to happen, I decided it was so. There is not someone else here making decisions, making up my so-called life. There isn’t anything else, at all, you see… There is only the truth. And truth alone is actually being/existing/ creating…

Now, within the realm of consciousness (which the Course tells us was the first split of mind), where the power of decision resides, and the seeming separation story began, made by our decision to split. My decision…

I decided to divert my attention from the truth to illusion. I decided to then to forget that I made that decision and decided to see myself as victimized by it instead. The focus of the mind in consciousness is entirely my discretion, based on what I believe I am. And what I believe I am is based on what I want it to be.

How do I know what I want my experience to be? Look around~ I’ve got it. If it seems I am a victim of a world outside myself~ that is the experience I want instead of truth. Period. ~Like captain Picarrd of Star Trek, I said: “make it so, and so it is… This is the power of decision. The power of decision is our own.

However, as the lesson states, we are in truth beyond consciousness: The power of decision is our own. And we accept of Him that which we are, and humbly recognize the Son of God. To recognize God’s Son implies as well that all self concepts have been laid aside, and recognized as false. Their arrogance has been perceived. And in humility the radiance of God’s Son, his gentleness, his perfect sinlessness, his Father’s Love, his right to Heaven and release from hell, are joyously accepted as our own.

So powerful are we that nothing can be beyond the all of everything that we are….

Let’s be honest with ourselves, not one of us, absolutely cannot identify, deep within, with the essence of the message of this lesson. It asks only that we come clean with ourselves and cop to our arrogance, and accept instead our holy station as co-creator, all mighty, all-powerful and humbly only the truth.

Truth comes present in our minds where it never left, the instant we decide for nothing else. This requires that we claim what we know is so; to the power of decision being ours, perfectly extended as creation in and through us. We can misuse this power and mis-create or make a images of illusory experience, in consciousness… and lord knows we have… but we cannot alter the unalterable, perpetual, wholly complete creation of God the Father and His holy Son, constant; eternally all that is… It is whole mind that decides … and decide it must…

The power of decision is my own… This day l will accept myself as my Father’s Will created me to be…

Lesson 150:

My mind holds only what I think with God… I will accept Atonement for myself… only salvation can be said to cure…

We accept Atonement for ourselves, accepting God’s plan for salvation in replacement for the one we made. The Atonement is the way for salvations accomplishment. It is the only cure for all that sickens us and seems to make us weak… accepting God’s plan for salvation re-minds us that this sick and weakened and frightened body cannot be the truth of what we are. It brings gently to the mind a way a perceiving the world we made that is truly familiar; feels natural and joyous to us. Where we once felt, “my god, the blind is leading the blind, here…” where there seemed that there was nowhere we could find reliable direction, interpretation or peace, before us unfolds a peaceful trusting-ness, already in place…

Beyond this world beckoning correction and awakening, the truth rest quietly; seeping peace into every thought requesting it truly. The Holy Spirit within our mind merely waits on invitation with the cure, the Atonement. We forgive and the truth sets us free. Truth needs no defense because it has never been in conflict. Forgiveness sees in every situation its holographic contribution to the wholeness of all. It looks past all illusions into the mirror of brother to see one Self

Here’s a section from the manual for teachers, which says again that salvation and Atonement are one in the same: “Healing and Atonement are not related; they are identical. There is no order of difficulty in miracles because there are no degrees of Atonement. It is the one complete concept possible in this world, because it is the source of a wholly unified perception. Partial Atonement is a meaningless idea, just as special areas of hell in Heaven are inconceivable. Accept Atonement and you are healed. Atonement is the Word of God. Accept His Word and what remains to make sickness possible? Accept His Word and every miracle has been accomplished. To forgive is to heal. The teacher of God has taken accepting the Atonement for himself as his only function. What is there, then, he cannot heal? What miracle can be withheld from him?” (M-22.1-12)

Only this return to the truth of our wholeness in each other and God can cure the mental madness of the illusion of a separate world. Finally, we remember joy … “Indeed! Mind holds only what we think with God!”

Lesson 140:

Only salvation can be said to cure…

To get off the merry-go-round of thinking in personal terms around the subject of healing, is very difficult indeed, as long as we believe we’re here. Without personhood, this world would not exist.

Usually when we’re addressing healing, it is because there is something about what’s happening in our lives, with our bodies, that we don’t want. So it seems as if this is a problem that needs a physical solution.

A crucial shift for me was finally, firmly grounding myself my essence; in the essence that I am as God created me, which revealed plainly that what is inconsistent with eternal peace and joy, cannot be real. This in turn, allows for the remembering of the simple.

There is only one problem. That problem is that we believe that we could be something other than what God created, authorizing us to be separate from our Source.

There is only one solution. Salvation. The truth is true and only the truth is true. Salvation is the flip-side of the false world of problems, aliments and disappointments. The truth collapses all falsehood in on itself when it is brought together. It answers any seeming problem as merely a case of mistaken identity.

Any aliment brings the message that I have forgotten what I am, in truth. It is only in seeing this error that one can accept the cure. Once this misalignment is identified, one can now easily establish that a confused state has occurred, therefore one’s judgment is impaired. The mistake of having taken life to be personal and separate from the whole, where real identity lies is revealed, along with the remedy. Beyond the source of my confused state, is the cure unveiled. We are as God created.

We forgive what cannot possible be real in truth, and wait… This waiting piece has been a touchtone for the evaluation of my sincerity for healing. As long as I am looking for a solution to make myself ‘more comfortable’, I am trapped in a personal premise. There is no ‘personal’ premise in the mind of God’s Son… Duh! It finally occurred that healing can never occur as long as I see differences, as long as there is you and me and God, as separate ideas on any level.

I have to want only the truth to be true ~there are no variables, and no compromise is possible. You are healed along with me, and I with you. We are one mind. And it is this one-mind that needs healing. My contribution is invaluable. Wholeness means whole not part. So rather than seek to feel better now, I see that how I feel now, is relevant only as far as it can be forgiven as false and brought back in to the whole of mind.

One cannot be healed alone~ aloneness is the definition of sickness. The purpose for certain specific problems showing up in my world reflect my state of mind where healing is taking place. There is no ‘cold’ or broken bone, or divorce or death of loved one. At all.

There is only love and the holy call for love to the sleeping mind. It’s so obvious. The false is false. Period.

No amount of belief in it or its remedies can morph nothing into something. God gave the Atonement, in answer to this belief of ours. Hence, we have the Holy Spirit continuity of whole-mind. Here we have the ever-present memory of truth, as available to us as we are willing to bring all illusions including beliefs and feelings and submit them to the test of truth. They have already been judged as nothing in the mind of the Son that has gone on unhampered by the fantasy of separation, and when we willingly bring our dreams of death, to the light of truth, healing feels like laughter…

Deep joy and well being, replace fear and insecurity, as the silliness of the false is revealed. A smile one can’t repress, a beaming from within that all is well, takes the place of the seriousness, which crystallizes problems and illness in this world…

There is nothing serious, here… because, seriously, there’s nothing here… God’s plan for salvation is the only cure… aliments are not of God and once seen as simply a mistake in identity, are overcome by the rich peace and surety intrinsic in accepting the Atonement ~the Cure…

Lesson 115:

Salvation is my only function here…

(My function is to forgive the world for all the errors I have made.

For thus am I released from them with all the world.)

My part is essential to god’s plan for salvation.

(I am essential to the plan of God for the salvation of the world.

For He gave me His plan that I might save the world.)

Only means only, here… Nothing else is really ‘important’, such that ‘putting off’ forgiving the world, is justified…. Yet, it is the ego’s nature to use anything to deflect attention from this one function, essential to God plan. (Which when applied, by the way, dispels the ego, entirely. So it’s no wonder.)

Surely you have noticed by now, moments of unwillingness wrapped up to look like forgetfulness or busy-ness… and perhaps you gave yourself some credit for noticing and realizing it for what it is. And maybe you have then judged yourself, or excused yourself, of insincerity…

This was the course for me, for the longest time. I felt trapped by the bad habit of putting my petty, worldly life ahead of inner peace; a peace, touched on at times and within my ready reach, yet out of mind, much of the time~ due to my preferences.

And… I felt impotent to effect much change. Promises to myself only left me with guilt. I couldn’t consistently keep my word to myself.

I could see I was doing the same thing with “salvation” as I’d done with everything else. But I could not seem to get off the merry-go-round of addictive self-concept thinking, and wait and listen for only the voice for God. Oh, I tried… (Yeah, ~still more of the same jerking myself off to stay in the spin…)

Part of my gig, was to judge myself as weak and not dedicated ‘enough’. This felt so awful that I had to beef up my promises to myself to ‘be better’, just to get a good breath. Maybe you can relate.

Although, I was aware myself identity and the judgment on myself was perpetuating the ‘reality’ of my so-called trap, it didn’t seem to help in me get out of it…. Contra ire…

I guess I want to talk about this ‘mind-boggle’ because, for me, at this stage of doing a course of the workbook lessons, it would seem particularly poignant, this ‘bad habit’, around now in the lessons. Catch my drift?

I never could seem to remember my hourly, let alone half hourly pauses to be with what I purported to be “the most important thing in the world to me”, on any consistent basis… Talk about feeling like a hypocrite and fraud (also a mechanism sent by the ego to keep me hooked).

Was this really was the best I could do it?… We believe what we see, because we see what we believe… My mind was split and so I saw a split experience… Yet, I wanted a healed mind. I wanted to be whole… I wanted to want a single mind… until that want became single…

The Christ mind looks only on itself, in every one and situation and circumstance…. Desperately I wanted to want only this, truly, madly, deeply… Until at some point, this desire seemed to swallow ‘me’ whole, and lift me off the merry-go-round.

Talk about breaking the habit… There was nothing I could to help myself, to save myself. As long as I wanted my‘self’ to be true~ even a little, I was limiting the help the Holy Spirit could give me…

Somehow, I became willing to be wrong about everything, for just an instant… It was enough…

Somehow, consistency started setting into the pathways once belonging to my desire for inconsistency, and new habits of trust and faith in everyone, circumstance and situation began to take hold… The application of Course suggestions seemed to be a natural part of the events of my ‘daily life’. A certainty of purpose and function stabilized my mind.

You know how, after a disaster strikes an area and devastates the land or whatever, how, somehow, it uses this disaster as some sort of fertilization for the ‘rebirth of everything’ … It was like that…

“How simple is salvation! All it says is what was never true is not true now, and never will be. The impossible has not occurred, and can have no effects. And that is all. Can this be hard to learn by anyone who wants it to be true? Only unwillingness to learn it could make such an easy lesson difficult.” (T-31.I.1) So I want to take a moment to give ourselves over, together, to this lovely experience offered in the section called The Simplicity of Salvation in the text::

“Let us be still an instant, and forget all things we ever learned, all thoughts we had, and every preconception that we hold of what things mean and what their purpose is. Let us remember not our own ideas of what the world is for. We do not know. Let every image held of everyone be loosened from our minds and swept away… Be innocent of judgment, unaware of any thoughts of evil or of good that ever crossed your mind of anyone. Now do you know him not. But you are free to learn of him, and learn of him anew. Now is he born again to you, and you are born again to him, without the past that sentenced him to die, and you with him. Now is he free to live as you are free, because an ancient learning passed away, and left a place for truth to be reborn.” (T-31.I.13)

Each of us is all of us… This is what I have come to appreciate and value in awareness … Each part is all parts. Nothing could be more or less important when there are no degrees, but simply One Perfect Plan…

My, yours, our, part is essential to God's plan for salvation… You are my savior, and I yours… You hold the lamp that lights my way… for we are united in Christ and you are my One Self. And together our Holy Relationship can handle it all …

~ Truth is at the helm~

Lesson 114:

Am Spirit

I am the Son of God.

NO body can contain my spirit,

Nor impose on me a limitation

God created not.

I will accept my part in God’s plan for salvation.

What can my function be but to accept the Word of God,

Who has created me for what I am and will forever be?

No definition of Spirit really ever fit just right or that made sense to me prior to A Course in Miracles. I always felt it was somehow very real yet indefinable. Something I was reaching for, not within. I am ~ because I AM SPIRIT. It is my being.

We’ve all got a story, and here’s one about this particular mock-up, labeled Danét, in early life span, viewed from the detachment of forgiveness. So it seems almost foreign, remembering this little girl’s thinking, like watching an old rerun. Humph. Anyway here goes…

I grew up believing… I’m not sure believing is the right word here. Let’s just say I was trying to believe, or at least trying to understand, yet not sure why I never felt like I really ‘got it’. Here’s how I saw it.

God created the world in 7 days, (that’s in God days, by the way). Anyway, I was never sure, (because, I think, of the confusion element necessary to seduction)… So, after He was done with the earth and all the animals and stuff, he thought, “Hey, how about something in my own image?” Which was male, Caucasian, Anglo-sax, …yes? So was man an afterthought? Anyhow, after that primary model was done, God thought, “My guy needs a companion”. Now was this so he wouldn’t be lonely? I don’t think they every really took a mark on this one. But I kind of thought it was to have someone to do the stuff he didn’t have time for our didn’t like doing, that God had designed into life on this earth, so he made a different model, which was more suited for these things, including the filling of the lonely place. So these two models sort of ended up being like a puzzle body with two pieces that fit together perfectly.

Okay, so when the models were done God breathed life into them. This was, I guess, what spirit was. It was some illusive life force that was subject to the destiny of the decisions the model made, for its salvation.

I personally felt ill equipped. For instance, I pieced it together in my mind that this male-female thing was why of the ‘special’ marriage part and of all the other stuff I learned about as it went along, stuff like ‘special’ covenants that one has to become worthy of in order to get into the ‘special’ part of Heaven. And if your model went to far wrong, well, you were doomed to never be with God…(Was this just your punishment for not getting good at the game?)

This is the thing, I was never really able to piece the whole picture together and have it come out looking or feeling like an all-knowing, all-powerful, all-loving God. Instead, it looked sort of like one big crapshoot, to me. With no guarantee as to where the roll of the dice would land. (I never got that game, either, by the way).

So spirit had very little relevance to me in my little world. Here’s the thing… it seemed you would you only get to be ‘special’ if you ‘got it’. What if you weren’t sure? I wasn’t. Does the ‘special’ magic still work, if it’s real? And what if it’s not?

Hoping that what someone else believes is true is a pretty sad foundation to build a life on, I decided… So I guess I wasn’t sure where the idea Spirit was in my life. I hadn’t tossed it out. I guess I always felt it was somehow present, though I couldn’t comprehend it form the premise from which I was doing my life, which at the time included a lot of behavior-mod by way of guilt… Still, I felt something must be guiding my life in someway, saving me from myself. Nothing I studied or learned about was really a hit for me, close but not direct on. Only the need to seek it… that was a constant…

When I found A Course in Miracles, I had an instantaneous sense of recognition ~of what you might call finding my Self within its pages. I got a sense of gradually redefining myself as Spirit without this even being my goal at all. I was coming at the Course in an attempt to gain knowledge of the workings of the universe and to have God present in my life in a way that I could utilize. I wanted a personal relationship with God and wanted to feel worthy of it.

Somehow, for once in my life, at least most of the time, I just let the Course speak to me and let the information settle within me wherever it could. I seemed to be aware on some level that I couldn’t analyze what it said or what it meant. So, mostly, I just showed up to it when I could let myself and took in what I could make room for within my belief structure of survival. ~It was a luxury.~My belief structure found more and more space available for it. And my sense of Spirit, being what I am in truth, occupied a larger and larger space within my mind.

There was a while I resisted completely, although I couldn’t see it for what it was at the time. It looked like wanting more… adding to… I saw this as a good thing at the time. (silly ego ~ trix are for kids). What I also didn’t realize it at the time, was that I was I was giving myself over to the feeling I was accomplishing something, taking credit for ‘doing it right’. I started subtly taking credit for how good I was feeling. And this is where I started getting lost for a while. Yet, at the time, I was blind to this, I wanted more. I wanted my life, and god to be my magic genie.

I see now the obvious sign: I had placed my belief in the ego on my alter instead of God. I had begun listening to the ego voice within my mind.

I now look at this as kind of craving or temptation, as just a symptom of the authority issue which, although already been answered in truth, is very much up for my forgiveness, as my part in God’s plan for salvation. However, coming to that, was a painful act of resistance to Self through violent death attempts on myself.

I know that sound dramatic but its how it was for me, when I forgot I was the dreamer of the dream, for a while. It’s only dramatic within the dream after all, and the dream is, after all, just a dramatization of how to kill God’s Son an infinite number of ways, without his realizing it? Isn’t it?

Now here’s salvation… It’s all about realizing this simple fact: ‘I have done this unto myself. I am the dreamer of this dream’. I am Spirit. I am the Son of God. No body can contain my spirit, nor impose on me a limitation God created not… He Created His Son complete and wholly loving and lovable as Himself. Nothing could ever tamper with what God has Willed, nor cover over or render it in some way other than what he created. God Wills for me perfect happiness. This is reality. Noting real can be threatened. Nothing unreal exits… here in lies the peace of God. If we think we see some else, we are dreaming. Period. Accepting the atonement for myself means, I recognize I am the dreamer of the dream and this puts me in a position to ‘choose once again’ to hear only the call for love and forgive all images of other-nesses. This is my part… I will accept my part in God’s plan for salvation… What can my function be but to accept the Word of God, Who has created me for what I am and will forever be?

Salvation is yielding fully to the truth that we are Spirit. We accept our part in God’s plan for salvation, accepting everyone and everything exactly as they are. Spirit reveals the eternal tapestry, and we recognize that which is eternal is unchanged, unchanging, and unchangeable. Spirit understands that no manipulation of circumstances, or acquisition of more, or self- improvement is necessary to "attain" the peace and happiness that is available NOW. The Kingdom of Heaven not only at hand, it is NOW. The Kingdom of Heaven is us. How could we not want do our Fathers Will once we see the truth of what we are, united as One.
